Ladder Lane is a bridleway just over the M4 from Croft Trail, but it’s pretty steep and a great descent, or challenging climb (very challenging!).
There’s is map below to show the location, as it’s a bit hard to describe, but you can access it either by exiting Croft Trail half way round, picking up the bridge way and going over the M4 on the bridge and up it first, or starting from the road at the top.
It makes a great extension to a lap of Croft, adding some natural trail and a big up and down. I’d recommend going up it first to get a good look, as there are some tricky ruts and the gradient means you’ll be going faster than you thought pretty quickly!
