Every Thursday night there is a social ride out from the Jovial Monk pub in St Andrews Ridge. The ride is between 16-20 miles, depending on that week’s ride, but always at a pace to suit all those that attend.
After the ride there’s chip butties on offer for £2 a pop – well you’ll have earned them by that point!
Helmet’s a must. Lights also still required at this time of year, but if you don’t have any drop us an email or message – we’ve normally got a spare set knocking around for the evening.
This is a nice relaxed fun race over 20km round Swinley Forest on the edge of Bracknell. It’s an Enduro race, with 7 timed downhill stages that are timed, but a more relaxed pace transferring between them. Should be great fun for all and a great opportunity for first time racers.
We have a number of club members of all abilities, men and ladies, taking part, so why not come join us?

This will be a gentle ride from the Tawny Owl pub and will be heading out and up to Old Town for a play off the walls.
However the route will be purely determine by the weather that day etc.
Lights are still required and a lid is a very must.
Would also like to point out due to insurance, only 18+ permitted on this ride.
Thursday’s ride will start from the Jovial Monk Pub on St Andrews Ridge and led by John Jefferies.
Planned ride is weather dependant. There may be a more urban ride if it’s too wet and cold. We will leave @ 7pm and head out through blunsdon, stratton & Stanton woods to south marston ind est. from there through a nice little single track to south marston. A bit of road to Nightingale woods for a lap or 2 then back to the Jovial refreshments. It may be cold and wet, so dress appropriately.
A helmet, lights and a serviceable bike required.
Nice steady pace to suit those in attendance – nobody will be left behind.
It’s the start of the year and lots of us have been off our bikes for at least the festive period, some of us longer.
Wednesdays have always been a relaxed beginners ride and we’re continuing that in 2020, but specifically aiming at getting you going.
So this is the perfect ride if you are just starting, coming back to riding after a break or just want to go for a pedal to lift your spirits.
The ride theme is Wellness. There are main reasons to ride – fitness, physical and mental health – but they’re all about making yourself feel better and having fun 🙂
We will been doing a gentle pace and there will be lots of opportunities for having a chat and asking about anything MTB related. I am a MIAS Level 3 Ride Leader and skills coach and am always happy to answer any questions – if I don’t know the answer, I’ll know who to ask 🙂
Rides will be about 10km and fairly flat. Nothing technical, mainly using cycle paths (especially in the winter weather!). Perfect for all abilities.
All you need is a helmet and bike (and at this time of year, lights as well).
Meet in the Bayberry car park for 6pm start.

The second weekend MTB Wellness ride is a gentle introduction to the Ridgeway.
Starting at the Three Trees Cafe, we will head along a flat section of the Ridgeway to the Barbury shooting club. From there we have a fun (gentle) descent to Draycott, a short stretch of road and a byway through to the old railway line, which will take us back to the Three Trees for refreshments.
12km and less than 100m of elevation, this is a perfect “get out in the countryside” ride for all abilities.
You just need a helmet, a bike and yourself. 🙂
Meet in the Three Trees cafe car park for 10.30am start
