So then, this Tuesdays ride will consist of a run or two of the blue trail at Croft trails. If anyone has the energy after, then we will also head to Coate water via the bridleway that runs parallel to the m4.
No need for lights on this one but a helmet is still a MUST!!! Also bring water and food as there will be no shop stops etc.

Leaving asda Walmart @ 7pm, we will head up to the Jovial Monk pub for 7.10 for those who want to start at the finish.
We will then head out through Stanton & Stratton woods. Route length will be down to weather & conditions.
We will aim to be back @ the Jovial monk for 9pm where chip butties will be available for £2.00.
Helmets, lights & warm clothes a must.
Leaving Asda at 7pm, the ride will pick up anyone wanting to start from the end point of the Jovial Monk at 7.10pm.
From there we will head through Blunsdon out to Stanton Woods, followed by Nightingale woods.
Returning to the Jovial Monk, where chip butties will be on offer for £2 🙂
Ride should be about 17 miles and no-one will be left behind.

Although you can ride it today, Tidworth Freeride have their official reopening this weekend, with support from Team Mitchell Cycles and TF Tuned. There will also be food and drink from Pothead & Panface.

Due to the preceding heavy rain, it will be an urban ride around north & west Swindon. We may even do a lap of the BMX track. Approx 15 to 20 miles.

On to John Lewis where we will go up the old railway line into Old Town, dropping down through croft wood then heading back along the canal aiming to get back to the Jovial for chip butties @ approx 9pm.

The rather good looking 417 Project opens this March at Birdlip, near Cheltenham, so we’re going on Thursday 24th to check it out!

A leisure ride from North Swindon to Marlborough and back with two start points – Asda Orbital Centre and the Esso Garage in Chiseldon.
Leaving from the first start point at Asda Walmart at the Orbital in North Swindon at 10am, we will head out through Shaw Forest to John Lewis at Mannington. From here we will join the old railway line up into Old Town and then through Coate Water, over the curly bridge up into Chiseldon.
We will meet people at the second rendezvous at the Esso Garage for approx 11.15 / 11.30.
From here we ride the old railway line into Marlborough. Beer and lunch for approx 1 to 1 1/2 hours before heading back with a possible pit (pint) stop in Ogbourne St George.
It’s a 40 mile ride start to finish but only a couple hills so relatively easy. We will ride at a steady pace and nobody will get left behind. It’s a fun ride, not a race. Helmets are a must.

Leaving the jovial monk pub @ 7 pm, we will head out to do an urban lap of Swindon (due to the recent heavy rain)
We will drop down through oakhurst, taw hill then out to peatmore. There we will head out to and around lydiard park Before heading down to John Lewis. From there to sainsburys, rodbourne, gorse hill then head back to the jovial for refreshments & chip butties.
Helmets and lights required. Will be a 20 mile plus ride but at a steady pace, so nobody will get left behind.
