Ladies Weekend Ride - 28th May @ The Village Inn, Liddington | Liddington | United Kingdom

The inaugural Ladies weekend ride will be on Saturday 28th May.

We will be starting at the Village Inn in Liddington (where parking is available) and doing a 12 mile route via Chisledon and Route 45 to the Croft trail. On the way back we will stop at Coate for coffee and toilets, before returning to Liddington through Badbury.

Before we set off we will be doing bike safety checks and there’s the option of lunch at the Village Inn on our return.

All abilities welcome – laps of Croft are optional, or we can go round the outside of the trail on the bridleway, depending on what people want to do.

Ladies Day at FoD @ Pedalabikeaway | England | United Kingdom

The Forest of Dean is one of my favourite places to ride, as not only does it have some of the best trails to be found, but it also has the warmest of welcomes and the best atmosphere that I’ve been too.
If you’ve been before you’ll know that already, so here’s another chance for you to go and if you haven’t been, you need to!!! And here’s your chance.
Join me on the trails for some shredding fun!! Everyone is welcome and the trails provide something for all abilities.
If you are new to mountain biking this is the perfect opportunity to see how much fun it can be! 🚴‍♀️

Meet outside the Pedalabikeaway cafe at 10.30am

SMTBE Breeze – Marlborough Meander @ Three Trees Cafe
Apr 30 @ 9:30 am – 12:00 pm
SMTBE Breeze - Marlborough Meander @ Three Trees Cafe | United Kingdom

As well as SMTBE, I’m also a Breeze champion and I’m doing a nice easy and scenic ride from Chiseldon to Marlborough. This is perfect for beginners and those that want a lovely gentle social ride with other lady riders.

Starting at the Three Trees Cafe , we will take the Cycle path to Marlborough. We will pass through Ogborne St George and then take a short section of quiet country road before continuing on the cycle path again . Once we get to the railway bridge just outside Marlborough we will then return along the same route as we came towards the cafe , where we will get a much deserved hot drink and cake!!!

We will be at Croft as usual this Wednesday evening.
With out wanting to curse it, the weather looks a bit better than previous weeks, so fingers crossed!

We will be doing a few laps, stopping to session some of the skills stuff along the way. Inevitably that inlcudes some jumps and the rock garden, but if anyone want’s to improve their cornering or have a go at conquering Pete’s steps, we can do that too.

Davinia will be there too leading any ladies that want to join her.

Meet in the car park at 5.45pm – you’ll need a helmet, but not lights 🙂

Bike Park Wales PAYG @ Bike Park Wales
Aug 8 @ 10:00 am – 5:00 pm
Bike Park Wales PAYG @ Bike Park Wales | Abercanaid | United Kingdom

Bike Park Wales sells out 3 months in advance, but you can do pay as you go – pay £8 entry and then £4 an uplift. It’s a good way of getting a day there at short notice, especially early in the week when it’s quieter, so we’re going to do that as a club trip.

We’ve chosen Tuesday 8th August – just turn up at Bike Park Wales at 10am and we’ll spend the day doing pay as you go runs, or cycling up is an option too.

If you’ve never been to Bike Park Wales, you should! There are trails for everyone, from beginners to hardened downhillers and it has a fantasticly professional setup, with everything you could need on site. You can also check out our guide to Bike Park Wales here.

We will have mixed and ladies groups and some coaching on offer too.
