Sunday 11th Sept

Up and breakfasted to be ready for Nigel and his team for an epic day of natural riding. Weather permitting we will be heading up from base to take in one of the best ridge rides England has to offer the prize of the climb being the descent down Stick Pass East back into Glenridding. This route may be changed under the advice of our guide and if as can happen the ridge is not rideable due to weather conditions then a classic low level route around Ulswater will be a demanding and rewarding alternative.

Summit of Helvellyn with Stick Pass top left. Winding away in the distance is Ulswater and the low level route that skirts the eastern shore.

On descending the heights we will once again partake of the local beverage in one of Glenriddings finest hostelries, to rest and recover for the 4 mile meander back to The Brotherswater Arms and a hearty and well earn end of ride meal. Oh and some ale!

Monday 12th September

Breakfast, then depending on fitness and desire a morning of unguided riding before returning to pack up and ship out arriving back in the metropolis that is Swindon early evening.
